In an era defined by rapid technological transformation, few individuals embody the convergence of science, innovation, and creativity as completely as Dr. Ko-Cheng Fang. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LongServing Technology Co., Ltd., based in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Fang has established himself as an inventor, entrepreneur, scientist, and artist whose groundbreaking work spans photonic quantum computing, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced materials science, and fine art.

Often described as a modern-day Leonardo da Vinci, Dr. Fang is renowned for his ability to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and create innovations that blend scientific advancement with artistic vision. His remarkable career reflects a commitment to solving some of humanity’s most complex challenges while simultaneously enriching cultural and creative expression.

Dr. Fang first gained recognition through pioneering cybersecurity research. He developed patented cloud storage systems and programmable password lock technologies that were adopted by the United States Department of Homeland Security, contributing to advancements in information security and cloud computing applications. These early achievements established his reputation as a forward-thinking innovator capable of addressing real-world technological needs.

Among his most celebrated accomplishments is the development of laboratory-grown Imperial Green jadeite, a gem-grade material designed for luxury jewelry applications. Combining crystal growth engineering, advanced materials science, and aesthetic craftsmanship, this breakthrough demonstrates Dr. Fang’s unique ability to merge technical expertise with artistic elegance.

His most ambitious work, however, lies in the field of photonic quantum computing. Dr. Fang introduced a revolutionary photonic chip architecture protected by patents in 26 countries. Unlike conventional electronic chips, photonic chips utilize light rather than electricity, dramatically reducing energy consumption, lowering carbon emissions, and minimizing electromagnetic interference. These chips have the potential to operate at speeds more than 1,000 times faster than traditional semiconductor technologies.

In 2025, Dr. Fang unveiled X-Photon, a groundbreaking photonic quantum material capable of emitting light at an extraordinary wavelength of just 2 nanometers. Designed for nanoscale photonic pathways, photonic transistors, and next-generation quantum chips, X-Photon represents a significant leap forward in photonic engineering. Building upon this innovation, he has also advanced the development of photonic memory technology, enabling direct storage of photonic signals and significantly reducing energy losses caused by repeated light-to-electrical conversions. Combined with photonic chips, this technology could potentially deliver computing performance more than 10,000 times faster than current electronic CPUs.

Further demonstrating his commitment to innovation, Dr. Fang successfully developed a 7-nanometer photomask fabrication process for photonic chip manufacturing. In April 2026, he publicly unveiled the complete architectural design of LongServing’s photonic chip system, including a three-layer structure integrating photonic memory, photonic logic gates, and photonic pathways. This design represents a transformative approach to computational architecture and nanoscale engineering.

Beyond computing, Dr. Fang has also led biotechnology research involving natural plant extract compounds with potential antiviral and anti-tumor properties. Preliminary laboratory studies conducted by LongServing Technology have shown promising results against several cancer cell lines, paving the way for future preclinical and clinical investigations.

Equally accomplished in the arts, Dr. Fang has painted since childhood, combining traditional Chinese Gongbi techniques with Western watercolor and oil painting influences. His works have received international recognition, including inclusion in the “Glory of the Chinese – Global Ambassadors of Chinese Culture” world stamp collection. In January 2026, his artwork was showcased on a prominent digital display in Times Square, New York.

Today, LongServing Technology continues to expand into luxury fashion and lifestyle design, incorporating Dr. Fang’s original artwork and laboratory-grown jadeite into exclusive apparel, handbags, and accessories. As the company advances its global pre-IPO initiatives, Dr. Ko-Cheng Fang remains committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation while inspiring future generations through his unique fusion of science, technology, and art.
